Phinney Ridge Full Home Remodel

This two story addition & full home remodel gave our clients the space they needed.

The transformation of this home extended into nearly every corner, beginning with a complete rework of the primary suite. By reconfiguring the layout, we were able to create a true retreat for the homeowners — one that now includes a spacious walk‑in closet and a thoughtfully designed en suite bathroom. The result is a private, functional sanctuary that supports daily routines while adding a sense of calm and luxury.

Downstairs, the basement portion of the addition brought new life to the lower level. The expanded footprint made room for a dedicated media and play space, giving the family a flexible area for movie nights, games, and gathering. An updated bathroom on this level adds convenience and rounds out the functionality of the space, making it feel connected and purposeful rather than secondary.

The kitchen also underwent a significant transformation. New structural beams allowed us to open up the ceiling and create a more expansive, airy feel — a shift that completely changed how the space lives. A generous island now anchors the room, offering seating, prep space, and a natural hub for entertaining. The addition of a walk‑in pantry and French doors leading out to the deck further enhance the flow, blending indoor and outdoor living and packing a surprising amount of function into this refreshed mid‑century kitchen.

Together, these updates create a home that feels cohesive, modernized, and deeply attuned to the way this family lives.

Just off the dining room, we carved out space for a dedicated home office — a small but impactful addition that enhances the way the home functions day to day. With full‑light doors, the office feels connected rather than closed off, acting as a warm extension of the main living areas while still offering the privacy needed for focused work.

Throughout the home, natural light plays a major role in highlighting the refreshed material palette. New windows and strategically placed skylights draw sunlight across the walnut cabinetry, light maple floors, and the green and brass accents that give the interiors their subtle richness. The result is a space that feels bright, grounded, and thoughtfully layered.

Because the home sits on a sloped lot, the exterior required just as much consideration as the interior. A new retaining wall provided the structural support needed, while a spacious deck with cable railing transformed the outdoor area into a functional, modern extension of the home. These updates not only complete the exterior but also create a welcoming place to gather, relax, and take in the surroundings.
